AIR MASSES:
- An air mass is a large volume of air with the same temperature and moisture content.
- It takes up the characteristics of the area in which it is located in. There is more moisture over the ocean.
- They are mostly based on the area in which they are located in.
- Air masses can be classified from the origination and moisture.

Maritime tropical air mass: Warm, and moist
